Searching for «best nightclubs in Andratx» and expecting a list of 10 mega-clubs is starting on the wrong foot. Andratx, and particularly Port d'Andratx, is not a mass-party zone: it's one of the most exclusive enclaves in the southwest of Mallorca, with yachts moored in the harbour, premium terraces, and a clientele that mixes residents with high-spending tourists. Here, the nightlife is more refined than raucous. Few venues, carefully chosen atmospheres, and once the sun sets, a handful of places that are truly worth it. This guide tells you which ones they are, what they're like, and what to do if a night in Port d'Andratx leaves you wanting more.
The night in Port d'Andratx: small, exclusive and very much port
The first thing to know is this: there's practically no nightlife in the town of Andratx. Everything interesting happens in Port d'Andratx, the harbour area, along Passeig de Mateu Bosch and the streets surrounding the marina. Andratx functions as a relaxed family destination during the day, with coves, fish restaurants and a beautiful old town, and transforms from around 9 pm into a premium drinks and select dancing spot. You won't find foam parties or mega-clubs with five thousand people: you'll find three well-differentiated venues catering to three different types of night out.
Ranking: The 3 best nightclubs in Andratx
1. Monkey Mind Club
Monkey Mind Club is probably the name that comes up most often when someone asks where to go out in Puerto de Andratx. It's right in the heart of the port area, with views of the waterfront, and has established itself as the place to be if you want a night of dancing, current music, and a lively atmosphere without sacrificing the style of the marina. The cocktail menu is well-curated, the capacity is manageable (it's not a mega-club), and the typical crowd ranges from 25 to 40 years old, a mix of locals and international tourists.
- Area: Passeig del Port, Port d'Andratx
- Format: club with port views
- Music: commercial and international dance, with DJ sets
- Ideal for: pre-dinner drinks by the harbour + cocktails + some dancing
2. M-Two Club
M-Two Club is on Avenida Mateo Bosch, also by the port, and is probably the most « designer» venue in Andratx. It operates in two modes depending on the day: as a sophisticated lounge on weekdays, opening around 9pm and closing at midnight; and as a club on Fridays and Saturdays from midnight, with DJ sets and a dance floor playing driving beats until 5am. The aesthetic is high-end (carefully designed interior, lots of wood and low lighting), there's a real dress code – flip-flops and swimwear are not allowed – and the customer profile is 25+ with a budget.
- Location: Av. Mateu Bosch 7, Port d’Andratx
- Lounge Opening Hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Club hours: Friday-Saturday, 00:00-05:00 (high season)
- Music: house, deep house, international dance
- Ideal for: couples, small groups, elegant «late-night» plans
3. Barracuda Nightclub
Barracuda is the veteran name of the night in Andratx. It's the typical club that's been going for years, popular with tourists and with a less sophisticated but more energetic offering than M-Two: an open dance floor, a mix of commercial Spanish and international dance music, and more accessible prices. You won't be impressed by the design or the menu, but if you're looking to dance and just switch off, it does the job.
- Zone: Ses Veles, Andratx
- Music: Spanish and international commercial dance
- Ideal for: informal evenings with a large group
Are there really only 3 party places in Puerto de Andratx?
Yes. And we don't say that as a reproach: Puerto de Andratx sells exactly that. A select nightlife destination, not mass nightlife. The actual dancing offer fits into these three venues plus some cocktail bars with music from the port (hotel terraces, restaurants that extend the night with chill DJs, etc.), but there isn't a typical mega-club. For some of the public, this is exactly what they are looking for: a good dinner in the port, a drink on a terrace with views, dropping by Monkey Mind or M-Two, and returning to their accommodation without stressing late into the night.
If your plan, on the other hand, is a night of full-on clubbing, themed parties, and extended hours, it's advisable to assume before you arrive that Andratx is not that area. And look at options a 15-20 minute drive away.
If you want more volume: Magaluf and Palma Nova are 15-20 minutes away
The advantage of Port d'Andratx is that it is well connected by road to the two most festive areas in the southwest of Mallorca. Palma Nova and Magaluf are about 15-20 minutes away by car via the Ma-1, and they concentrate what Andratx lacks: mega-clubs, themed parties, club nights with international DJs, and nightlife open until 6:00 am. It is common for groups staying in Andratx to have dinner in the port, a drink in one of the local clubs, and then head to Magaluf from 1:00 am onwards to finish the big night.

Practical tips for a night out in Puerto de Andratx
- Book a table at any establishment in the port. During summer (July-August), the port gets busy from 9 PM onwards, and it can be difficult to get a table without a reservation at M-Two, waterfront restaurants, or promenade terraces, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Dress appropriately for the area. This isn't Magaluf. Flip-flops, swimming shorts or vest tops won't fit in at M-Two and many of the premium terraces in the port. Shirts, long trousers or dresses are the usual attire among the local crowd.
- The car isn't the best plan. Parking in Port d’Andratx in the summer is complicated, and if you're planning on having drinks, it's better to book a taxi or stay overnight nearby. There's a taxi service, but you have to order it in advance from 2:00 AM onwards.
- Don't expect a great atmosphere out of season. In winter (November to March), a lot of the port's nightlife winds down: many restaurants close and clubs have a very light schedule. The scene picks up again in spring and explodes in summer.
- If you're coming as a large group, please call ahead. Both M-Two and Monkey Mind manage group bookings via direct message or phone — booking a few days in advance will prevent you from being left at the door.
Common questions about going out in Andratx
What is the best nightclub in Andratx?
The best option depends on the kind of night you're looking for. M-Two Club is the most comprehensive for a long, stylish night out: it combines a sophisticated lounge and club with DJs until 5:00 AM, in a prime harbour location. Monkey Mind Club is the choice if you're after something more relaxed on the promenade, with cocktails and dancing. Barracuda is the more informal and seasoned alternative. For a polished night out in Puerto de Andratx, M-Two is the safest bet.
Is there nightlife in the village of Andratx or only in the port?
Practically all of Andratx's nightlife is in Port d'Andratx, not in the town. Andratx town has a few tapas bars and restaurants with terraces that stay open until 11 pm - midnight, but the clubs and venues with DJs are all in the port, around Passeig de Mateu Bosch. If you're staying in the town, allow about a 5-10 minute drive or taxi ride to get to the port.
What time do the nightclubs close in Puerto de Andratx?
The main clubs in Puerto de Andratx close around 5:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays during high season. M-Two opens its club mode from 00:00 AM and closes at 05:00 AM. Monkey Mind and Barracuda have similar hours. During the week, many venues close earlier (around 1:00 AM - 2:00 AM) or simply don't open the dance area, especially outside of June to September.
How much does a night out cost in Port d'Andratx?
A night out in Puerto de Andratx is considerably more expensive than in Magaluf or Alcudia. Cocktails at M-Two and in port venues typically cost between 12-18 euros, a reserved table with a bottle easily starts at 200-300 euros, and the entrance fee (when charged) is usually around 15 to 25 euros. It's a premium area, and the prices reflect that. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option, this isn't the place – for that, you'd be better off looking at Magaluf or the centre of Palma.
Can you go to Magaluf from Port d'Andratx to finish the night?
Yes. Magaluf is about a 15–20-minute drive along the Ma-1 motorway from Port d'Andratx, and many people combine dinner in the port with a late night out in Magaluf. The most practical way to get there is by taxi or ride-sharing service – parking in Magaluf in the summer is difficult, and if you plan on drinking, driving is out of the question. It's advisable to book your return taxi in advance because between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM there's a lot of competition for cars.
